Audio Origami is a Scottish artisan tonearm manufacturer with over twenty years of experience in precision analogue engineering. Designed, manufactured and assembled in Scotland, UK, our products push the boundaries of vinyl replay, using advanced materials, controlled energy management and precise mechanical integrity to extract maximum information from the cartridge while preserving signal purity.

Our focus is on tonearms and front-end analogue components, where the smallest mechanical inaccuracies have the greatest sonic consequences. Our products are engineered to exacting tolerances and hand-assembled with close attention to structural rigidity and vibrational control. We protect the signal at its most vulnerable point and increase the musical capability of our customers’ vinyl playback systems.

Wherever possible, the components used in our tonearms are manufactured in Scotland. From machined metalwork to structural components and finishing, the vast majority of parts are locally produced and then assembled by hand in our workshop. The only exception is our ultra-precision Japanese bearings, selected because they represent the highest standards of accuracy and consistency available.
